Have you been trying over and over to lose weight through diet and exercise? Bought and tried loads of weight loss products, but just can't see the number of pounds going down on the body weight scale? This can be caused by a number of reasons that can either be internal genetic factors or external environmental factors.
To lose weight your body must burn more calories (energy in food) than you're putting in, this is the biochemical process that results in weight loss. No matter what type of weight loss products you use or dietary and exercise plan you follow, unless you're able to get your body to accomplish this process steadily over a period of time you'll not see a significant drop in weight. That period of time could be a few days to a few months depending on how much weight you want to lose and the effectiveness of the weight loss plan or strategy you're using. Some people have the misconception that by simply eating and drinking foods prepared for dieters and doing a couple hours of exercise at once should magically make them shed pounds. Unfortunately, this is not how it works. True, diet and exercise is essential for losing weight but will not work to accomplish significant weight loss unless they're properly managed via a well outlined plan. The bottom line is you'll only see pounds decreasing when you're strictly following an effective weight loss plan that totally controls how you eat and exercise, aimed towards burning more calories in your body than you're putting in.
Many people may embark on a plan to start consuming less calories that is needed for their level of physical activity but fail due to certain influencing environmental factors that cause them to do the opposite. One such factor is failing to resist the temptation to eat high calorie foods because they're always available and such persons grow up eating them. Some people also tend to eat high calorie foods for comfort when they're stressed, lonely or depressed. Also, due to their lifestyle some people who started an exercise routine to lose weight will occasionally or regularly miss sessions due to appointments, meetings and other hindrances. Under such circumstances it'll be difficult to lose weight because your body is not getting a constant feed of the right diet and exercise it needs to burn calories and keep it off.
On the other hand, what if you were able to consume less calories needed for your level of physical activity steadily over a period of time but still didn't see a significant reduction in weight? There are also some internal underlying factors that can make it difficult for you to lose weight, and even if you were able to diet and exercise well for a while such factors could put the odds against you when trying to shed pounds. First and foremost, You may have a low resting metabolic rate and a high metabolic efficiency. If you have a lower resting metabolic rate your body will burn fewer calories while you're at rest than someone your size with a higher rate. And, if your body is metabolically efficient, it burns fewer calories when you're physically active. Secondly, how you were fed as a child could be affecting how quickly you're able to lose weight as an adult. Certain foods you ate as a toddler could influence your genes to cause you to gain weight more quickly than you're able to lose it.
If you're in such situation, whereby, losing weight seems unattainable due to one or more of the above factors, do not be discouraged. Losing weight might be more hard to archive for you but definitely not impossible. By making a tough commitment to control how you eat and exercise regularly you'll start seeing results. Don't just try dieting and exercise for a short period and then go back to your old habits if it doesn't work. Make a lifetime commitment to eat healthy by eating more fruits and vegetables, protein and carbohydrate in balanced proportion, and putting a strict ban on junk fatty foods from entering your system. This may be hard at first to accomplish, but by continuing to persevere amidst occasional failure you'll gradually reach perfection. You should also make a permanent lifestyle change to include more physical activity in your daily life. Walk instead of drive wherever possible, always use the stairs instead of the elevator and start regular hobbies that involve being physically active. By developing the right mindset and attitude towards your goals and permanently changing your eating habits and the way you move you'll be able to not only shed pounds but keep it off for good. Finally but very importantly, you'll need to include an effective weight loss program with your efforts. Some weight loss programs are professionally designed to use dietary and exercise strategies to affect the body's metabolism in a certain way to accelerate weight loss. This is especially needed if your type of metabolism is one of the problems that is making it hard for you to lose weight. Also a weight loss program will fuel your motivation to stick to your weight loss plan. The top rated programs will allow you to eat conveniently or exercise only a couple minutes a day and yet remain highly effective in reducing weight.
