Lower Abs Workout for Women
Traditionally 6 pack abs have been viewed as being a sort of "guy thing", but with the popularity of women fitness gurus that has changed drastically. Women have begun gaining ground in showing off their spectacular abs. Flat abdominal workout, among other type names, you'll see in as little as six minutes, you can get an great abdominal workout in your home. In this article we will go over what has become some of the more popular exercises in a woman's journey toward discovering lower abs workout for women.
Exercise 1, is pretty simple and if you are familiar with sit-ups then you'll have no problem. Go ahead and lay down on the ground, you might want to put a flat mat, or perhaps a thinly quite blanket under you. Keep those arms behind your head. Bring your knees up. Now go ahead and pull your chest up, you'll notice the breast area is pointing upward. Okay here's the part where it works, hold it, I recommend counting backwards form eight, nice and slowly. You'll repeat this step perhaps 10 times and do a second set. Remember know your limit.
Exercise 2- This one is kind of a favorite lower abs workout for women, it poses a bit more of a challenge than exercise 1, but you'll get the hang of it. I prefer to call this Platform Cycling, as you won't be leaving the position you begin in. Make sure to stretch your legs out for a bit. Okay, now put your arms behind your neck. Lift your leg up and bring it to the opposite side, alternate and do the other leg. Get the point? When you become a bit more familiar you'll want to extend your elbows and make contact with your legs as you come up. Recommendation is to start 8-12 per side; you can always work to higher reps.
Exercise 3- Okay, I saved this one for last, it's a favorite and I think that you'll love feeling the abs at work. Lay straight out; keep your arms and hands to the side. I think closing your eyes kind of help with concentration. You can either do one leg at a time, or together. Raise your leg(s) no more than six inches (you can decrease this as you become more familiar) hold the position for a countdown of 10. Be sure you've stretched as the strain on the calves can sometimes cause a cramp. Make sure you reach out and feel the tightness of the abs as you're working on the exercise, you'll feel the work right away. Adjust your reps/sets to be not painful, but productive. This is a good lower abs workout for women, and can be adjusted to focus on the lower pouch area.
